IBMG is the largest building materials distributor in the South of England, formed through more than 20 acquisitions made since the start of 2018.
IBMG needed display graphics produced for their first ever supplier day event at the Williams F1 Centre. They wanted help to brand the event, develop an overall theme and produce a series of display graphics including signage for the floors and walls, windows vinyls, table cards and an animation. The purpose of the event being to bring all the suppliers together who work under the IBMG umbrella, celebrating the success and growth, as well as sharing plans going forward.
In Pole Position plays on the racing theme, as the event was to be held at the Williams F1 Centre as well as conveying the winning position they are in currently within the market. The identity consisted of bold typography and bright multi-coloured lines – mimicking speeding racing cars – each representing a different independent builders merchant brand within IBMG.
The event branding was displayed across the experience centre, with the focal point being an engaging looping animation. Other branded materials included notebooks, tentcards and lanyards. The IBMG logo was also printed on floor graphics as way-finding, directing the attendees to the auditorium which included a full branded wall showcasing all of the brands in the group.
